Ellen Horne is the founder and editorial director of the audio production company Story Mechanics. Before starting that company, she served as executive producer of Radiolab for more than a dozen years and produced original content for Audible. She teaches audio journalism courses at both New York University’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute and Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.
